I am planning an extended cruise and am very interested in the EarthNC Raster product as a backup for paper charts. I have an Asus EEE PC which is a small Linux box, capable of running Google Earth. It has no DVD drive but I will have a sufficient capacity USB hard drive. Is it feasible to use your EarthNC Raster charts with this configuration (you only mention PC/Mac support). Also, what is the timeframe for west coast chart release in Raster format?

West Coast is now done. I’ll be adding it to the website later today or tomorrow. It covers the lower 48 West Coast and Pacific Islands. We’ll be adding an Alaska region soon to finish the set.
The Raster files can be copied from the DVD to an external hard drive if needed and will work fine on Linux.
