The Inland ENCs (IENC) and NOAA ENCs are in some locations where GE does not have very good large scale images. To see only point and line features can be limiting in such cases. I would like to see controls of the area fills with transparency settings.
Also, one of a ENCs key features is Depth Areas in addition to depth sounding point features. IENCs use these exclusively. I would like to be able to query these areas and others as well by clicking on these areas, I should be able to view the meta data.

Thanks for the feedback!

One of the reasons we’ve disabled the area fills with the current EarthNC charts is due to a Google Earth bug in properly displaying large scale, complex, filled polygons. With each new version of Google Earth, we re-evaluate the situation and will release the depth area layers as updates to the ENC charts when this is fixed.

You can view metadata for EarthNC lines and polygons by a ‘control-left click’ on the element in Google Earth.
