EarthNC AIS Vessel Tracking for Google Earth (Beta)

EarthNC is working with leading AIS vendors to bring AIS tracking services to Google Earth. Our first partner, VesselTrax.com has provided a version of the AIS feed for Google Earth. The feed is updated every 1 to 4 hours.

We recommend trying out the VesselTrax.com AIS layer in conjunction with the EarthNC Marine Charts for Google Earth in the Houston Area via EarthNC Online.

VesselTrax.com Live Ship Positions via AISGalveston Pass live ship positions from EarthNC partner VesselTrax.com. Red vessels are tankers, green cargo, yellow barge tows.

*Note: To view EarthNC Online Chart, Weather or AIS files, you need Google Earth Version 4 installed on your PC. If you don’t have Google Earth, go to the Google Earth download page by clicking at the link at bottom of this page. Its free, easy and a great introduction into the 3D world of Google Earth.
